Don’t be a Victim- Protect Your Bod!

Find out how to stay safe in the capital city- it may be easier then you think!

We’ve heard the stories, read the headlines, and wondered- is it possible to stay safe out there?! Safety is a concern with any college student, and certainly with Washburn students. What many students don’t know is that there are some simple (and often overlooked) things you can do to keep yourself from being a victim of crime! Hear straight from those in charge- the Topeka Chief of Police, and the Shawnee County District Attorney- about what you can do to stay safe, and what you can do should you become a victim of a crime! Of course, there will also be pizza, shirts, and prizes! The event is sponsored by the Washburn Student Government Association and Leadership Greater Topeka!
